What to Expect From Us

We provide mentorship and guidance throughout the supervision accrual process, and (because we remember what it was like to be a brand new certified BCBA suddenly “in charge”) continue to provide support as you begin your journey as a newly certified clinician.

Goals Of Supervision

Our supervision is not “one size fits all”. While we will ensure your competency in all sections of the BACB task list, supervision will also be tailored to fit your goals and areas of strength and weakness. Some other things to think about:

Other than sitting for the exam, what are your goals for your supervision process? What role do you hope to find yourself in once certified?
When do you hope to sit for the BCBA exam? The duration of experience may not exceed 5 continuous years (e.g. May 2015 to May 2020)
How much supervision do you need? Supervised independent fieldwork requires 1500 hours, and requires that you are supervised for 5% of your total hours.
If you accrue hours at the maximum rate possible, this will equal 1.5 hours per week (for 30 experience hours) or 6 hours per month (for 120 experience hours).

In Order To Begin Accruing Supervision, You Must

1. Be enrolled in or recently graduated from a BACB approved ABA masters or certification program (and have attended the first class meeting)

2. Be eligible for supervision according to the BACB Experience Standards

3. Have a minimum of 2 clients in need of behavior analytic services and permission to video tape at least 10 to 15 minutes in session of at least two clients each month (I will provide written permission forms)
